This is Pastor Dejen’s life story: God has allowed Dejen and his family to be at the right time and place, to play a crucial role in the Exodus of Ethiopian Jews to Israel during the 1980s, a miraculous event which is the fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy. Thousands of Jews were escorted by Dejen and his family to the Sudanese border, facing all kinds of dangers and obstacles. Dejen, who describes himself as a non-believer in those days, joined one of the families he escorted and immigrated to Israel. In Israel, he was a model citizen, served in the IDF, and became a certified electrician, when an evil combination of violence and corruption took away his citizenship and put him in serious physical danger. Just as his world collapsed, Dejen discovered the Grace of God, which allowed him to experience real miracles, and persevere through crushing difficulties for more than 20 years, until the truth prevailed.
